The WBO Welterweight champion Miguel Cotto next fight is against the best pound-for-pound king, Manny Pacquiao. The Pacquiao vs. Cotto match is scheduled on November 14, 2009. The Pound for Pound king already gave the signal to his promoter Bob Arum to set a fight for the WBO Welterweight title. Although there are still some negotiations happening between the camp of Pacquiao and Cotto but this will sure to all boxing fans that the fight is still on. The Pacquiao vs. Cotto fight is another exciting match to watch. Pacman is known for his tremendous speed and punches. His southpaw stance complements his style. He has a fast and powerful left straight that would often catch an orthodox fighter getting out cold. When Manny Pacquiao smells blood you will be his prey. Miguel Cotto is a very good boxer, smart boxer and tough also. He is a defensive-boxer and a counter-puncher. He has also a power to knockout his opponent, just what happen to Clottey on their match last June 13 at the Madison Square Garden. Cotto knockout Clottey in the first round of the match and Clottey couldn’t believe it. Cotto won on a split decision. Clottey almost walk out from the ring as soon as he heard the announcement that he didn’t win. Although Cotto has no speed against Pacquiao but he is tough man to beat. Pacquiao vs. Cotto would be a chance to see by all boxing fans at its best. I like these two fighters. They are the best in their own styles!
