Doctor Who – A Christmas Carol

On Christmas, December 25, 2010 the world’s longest running sci-fi TV series will air its sixth Christmas special with the Doctor Who: A Christmas Carol. In terms of where the episode sits in the chronology of Moffat’s tenure on the show, it picks up with Rory and Amy on their honeymoon, him in his Armour, her as a policewoman. Gambon is clearly having a lot of fun here, and makes for a strong Scrooge-like figure. And for those fearing Katherine Jenkins is stunt casting gone wrong, then fear not. The part fits her a treat, and even when she opens her mouth to belt out a song, you’re unlikely to mind. We’ve seen songs shoehorned uncomfortably into Doctor Who in the past, but not here. Murray Gold’s score tucks terrifically well around the many deliberately quiet and steady moments of the story, too. Really looking forward to this – the sets and lighting look fantastic. The Doctor Who: A Christmas Carol will star Matt Smith as the Doctor, Karen Gillan as Amy Pond, and Arthur Darvill as Rory Williams as well as guest starring Katherine Jenkins and Michael Gambon. Sam is told by old “Tron” pro Alan Bradley that some new information about his father, who disappeared 25 years ago into the digital world of Tron, has surfaced. He hops on his Ducati and heads over to Flynn’s arcade, whose many games are now covered in dusty cobwebs and plastic tarps. What he uncovers there catapults him into Tron, a dark, ominous world with menacing skies and neon lights where he will be reunited with his father and try to save him from the Tron program.

Nikita makes a quick decision in an effort to clear Alex’s name. Meanwhile, Birkhoff discovers the shell program a Division spy is using to reach Nikita on the outside and alerts Percy and Michael. Wow! I never imagined that they will use an infiltrator just to reach Nikita and Birkhoff started to notice. On the other hand, Jayden attempts to reveal Alex as the secret agent but Thom steps in and a shocking accident clears her name. I wonder what Thom said just clears Alex name on the secret agent thing that involves Nikita. In almost three weeks I've been busy trying to find something new in the newest season and thank god I found the newest clip that contains the behind the scenes with the cast of Glee at their publicity photo shoot. The cast of the show, including Matthew Morrison, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Heather Morris, Jane Lynch, Jayma Mays and Harry Shum Jr took part in a photoshoot for season two, the shots from which will be released to the media within the next few days.
